Just saw this on Facebook. 2001 325XI wagon with a manual and that interior. I may go look at it today and buy it. Because the 2002 325XI with a manual I’ve been working on for 2 months isn’t enough. Nor the Outback. Or the Odyssey.

That’s what’s got me. Never seen that interior in a wagon before. I’ll have to see it in person but if the body is rust free then this is a no brainer. I can still sell mine at what I have into it or a profit and get this new one and not have to deal with the bit of rust I have on mine.

It’s funny. My car is a 2001 model that I bought new . It was probably 2/3rds the price of a 325 at the time. Now it's worth three times as much as that 325.

NH. Expect some rust. Assume you’ll have to replace the whole cooling system (not too expensive, and not difficult), rear wiring harness to hatch having a few broken wires, broken spring in the back, and you’d be pretty close to reality for the ones I’ve seen.

Followup - I messaged her and was told that she is gone until Thursday and she is selling it “for her brother”. Doesn’t know if there is rust but “there may be some over the rear wheels”.

Sketchy, basically. I told her to message me when I can come see it. I anticipate never hearing back.
